During the day I'm a chemist. I've always enjoyed the black & white analytical work in science, but that leaves me with the need to do something artistic and crafty. I started scrapbooking about 15 years ago, and it is still my main passion. Unfortunately I don't have much time to scrapbook these days due to work, my Etsy shop, and our little girl, but I still LOVE the feel of paper and glue. I could never switch to digital scrapbooking because it doesn't have the same feeling of texture. I love that feeling when I've created a beautiful page that has layers, composition, small embellishments and my favorite photos - there's no other feeling like this.
Several years ago my dear friend and his wife asked me to help them with invitations and decorations for their son's first birthday, since they knew I enjoyed crafts. This led to my little prince collection which you can find on Etsy. That was the starting point for my invitations and printables. It is amazing how far my shop has come since those first few invitations. Since I don't have a graphic design background, I'm still amazed that my side business has morphed into something like this. I am purely self taught - through experimentation and what I personally would like to see in an invitation. While there are many shops on Etsy that create similar digital invitations, I hope you can appreciate my personal style and aesthetic, as I strive to create beautiful designs that I think are classy and timeless.
Thanks for stopping by, and please let me know if I can be of any assistance!
