Happy Monday everyone, and happy President's day! Hopefully you're all staying warm. :)
I have several pregnancy/maternity scrapbook pages to show you today that I'm really excited about. Hopefully this will give you some inspiration for your maternity photos. I also used some original ultrasound photos - after scanning them of course, in order to make reprints.
Without any further ado...
Sweet Baby
I love how this one turned out. I knew I wanted to use the bird paper, and the rest fell into place. I added some journaling for Adelaide to read later in life, on the tag in the vellum envelope. For the ultrasound photos, I learned quickly that the glossy paper is very thin and flimsy. Even with adhesive all around the edges, the edges still curled up. I wanted a sleeker look, so I decided to sew around the edges, onto a piece of patterned paper behind. For the ultrasound photo to the right, the top portion was cut off a bit from where they made the cut at the doctor, so I simply trimmed the text down to make it a perfect square.
Becoming Adelaide
I wanted to include Addie's growth through the weeks on a page, so I used three different ultrasound photos that best represented her growth. From a little peanut, to a kicking baby in my tummy. :)
I tried to keep this one simple. Again, I used the sewing machine to sew around the edges of the ultrasound photos.
Our Journey Thus Far
This is a sentimental page for me. I typically don't add much journaling, but I wanted to write a note to our baby about what we had experienced together, even before she was born. She was with me when I travelled, my constant companion. She was with me when I took professional classes, and was the youngest member to graduate from one - even received their very own certificate of completion for "Baby McLeod". I wanted to document these moments, and the feeling that I was never alone. Our little one was always with me...my little sidekick.
Anticipation
This is actually one of the pre-made scrapbook pages I previously featured in my shop. I loved the page and the sentiment so much, I decided to use it for our maternity photos. The anticipation of waiting for our little one to arrive was almost unbearable.
Again, I hope this provides some inspiration for your pregnancy photos, and ultrasound photos of your little one.
Until next Monday....
